Description: Brownish toned black/white photo mounted on grey paperboard. Photographer unknown. Modern photo copy made by Piatt Photo Supply, Alameda. The image has minor emulsion chipping along the edges. The mounting has thumbtack holes in its upper corners, scuffing, two white cataloging gurmed labels at each upper corner, and an identifying newspaper clipping glued to its bottom margin.
Size: L-14 x W-17 in.
History of Object: The first Junior Red Cross unit at Alameda High School, 1918. The seven girls, clad in white uniforms, are posed in front of the original Alameda School, and are identified by the attached newspaper clipping located below the image.
