Photograph depicting the main facade of 2044 Alameda Avenue. The home was erected in 1875 and altered in 1885 for John Siegfried, tea merchant, and his father Edwin Siegfried, a prominent Alameda artist. Examples of Edwin Siegfried's work can be found in the Alameda museum collection.
