Size: L 8" x W 10" History of Object: Otis-side view of 2630 Otis Drive, shortly after construction, judging by the young tree along Otis Drive and other vegetation. Building permit issued 6 Dec. 1937, for 7,500, built 1938. Owner was Ruth Cornick, daughter of G.H. Noble, speculative builder in the area in the 1930s. Builder was Arthur E. Troiel, architect F.H. Slocombe of Oakland. Troiel invented a system of concrete construction which was used for the house. An article about the house appeared in the Nov. 1938 issue of Architect and Engineer.
