Description: Sepia-toned photo, mounted on white paperboard, framed with buff mounting.
Photographer unknown. Both the image and the mounting are damaged by a dark discoloration on their upper left and lower left mid-sections, as well as by minor scuffing and staining generally; in addition, an old cataloging number is written in blue ink on their upper right corner. The image is enclosed within a protective folder having a front of transparent plastic and a back of tan paperboard.
Size: L-18 x W-24".
History of Object: Unidentified rower in a racing shell, practicing in what is probably the Oakland-Alameda Estuary. He was possibly a member of the then-popular Alameda Boat Club.
