Description: Enlarged sepia tinted photo (grey colored mat) in ornate gesso frame with gilt finish.
History of Object: Family photo in original frame of Abram & Catherine Rich, and their four daughters. The Rich family were early pioneer residents of the West End, Alameda. They built and occupied their home in 1862. The house survives (1986) and is probably one of the oldest in the West End, if not in Alameda.
