Photo from 1955 by R.W. Biermann of Alameda Belt Line locomotive D-3, built by Alco in 1946, model S-1, serial number 73915, from the collection of H. N. Proctor. This locomotive ran on tracks at the north end of Alameda; it was used to serve the industries in that location.
