History of object: An apparent dedication ceremony being held at the base of the eucalyptus tree located at the corner of central and Park Avenues. This tree had been planted many years before by Isabel Taylor, wife of Methodist Bishop William Taylor, and who were the parents of A.K. Taylor, Alameda's first mayor.
