History of Object: Photo of the donor (Elmer Anderson) standing in front of the family home at 1612 Bay Street, Alameda. His father, Alfred A. Anderson, purchased the home in 1920. It was occupied by the family until 1986 upon the death of Alfred's widow, Marie (Camp).
Alfred Allen Anderson, born Bay Farm Island, June 7, 1889, died April 5, 1947. He was the son of Geo. & Josephine Anderson, pioneer farmers & residents of Bay Farm Island, Alameda.
