History of Object: View of a one-story Victorian cottage once occupied by Louis Homeier who, according to the 1912 Alameda City Directory, was a musician by Occupation. However, information written on the verso mentions Mr. Homeier's employment by the southern Pacific Railroad in Alameda as a gateman and, later, a towerman. The home was erected in 1880 and is located at 1527 Willow St.
