History: Photograph of Ford Samuel taken in 1902 when he was 16 years old. He is pictured at the wheel of his father's Knoxmobile, an early horseless carriage. Mr. Samuel in later life served as Postmaster of the City of Alameda.
Photograph given to the Alameda Historical Society prior to 1971 and never catalogued.
