Description: Black/white photo, mounted on grey paperboard. Photographer unknown. A typed white description label is affixed to the lower margin of the mounting. The mounting has nail holes in all corners and it is cropped close to the image on the upper three sides. Alameda Historical Society rubber stamped identification is imprinted twice in blue ink along the bottom margin of the mounting. An old cataloging label is glued to the upper left corner of the image.
Size: L-10 x w-10 1/4 in.
History of Object: Members of Joe Hooker Post #11, Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), taken on Memorial Day, ca. 1906. This post later merged with Lyon Post of Oakland. Post members are identified on a descriptive label below the image.
