History of Object: Framed photo of Lottie Perkins, teacher Longfellow School, Alameda. She taught there from approximately the 1890's to the early 1920's. Born in San Mateo, she and her family came to Alameda from San Francisco in the 1880's. She graduated from the Alameda High School in 1890 (her framed diploma is in the museum collection).
