Description: Modern enlarged black/white photo mounted on tan paperboard with a submounting of thin yellowish paperboard. The submounting has an inscription at its lower right corner in black ink script: "Presented by Southern Pacific". The submounting suffers from corner creasings, tearing along its edges, and an old cataloging number written in black ball point ink upon its upper right corner. The image is enclosed within a protective folder having a transparent plastic front and a dk. grey paperboard backing. Photographer unknown.

History of Object: View of the remodeled Southern Pacific ferry "Alameda" approaching the Alameda Mole. Two other unidentified ferry boats, as well as Yerba Buena Island, appear in the distance.
