Size: L-4 1/4 x W-5 1/4 inches. History of Object: Photo depicting the Abel Thornton home, 1479 High Street, Alameda. Originally constructed on what is now known as Liberty Avenue, it was moved in 1890 to the west side of High Street (1479), after Thornton sold its original site to David Hirschfeld, developer of Liberty & Garfield Avenues.
