The R3Y Tradewind Trans Pac crew which flew the Navy's first prop-jet seaplane from the NAS Alameda to Keehi Lagoon, Hawaii, on Oct. 16, 1956. The crew members are standing in front of the airship, and are identified on the above-cited description label.
