History: Photograph of the Rhodes and Jamieson Plant on the Estuary, Alameda. In the distance can be seen the warehouse of the Hercules Gas Engine works and the tower of Dow Pump Works. The photograph belonged to Oscar W. Plato who lived in Alameda from 1920 to his death in 1948. He worked at the Rhodes and Jamison Plant and was the late father-in-law of the donor.
