Description: Sepia-toned albumen print photo mounted on dk. burgundy paperboard.
Photographer: George Ball, Alameda (per gold-imprinted name on the bottom margin of the mounting, and which is largely obscured by a white typewritten description label). The mounting also is affected by creased corners. The image has some fading, a minor mark in blue ink, and an old green cataloging label glued to its upper left corner.
Size: L-5 1/4 x W-8 1/2 in.
History of Object: West End School students posed at the entrance. Teacher shown is identified as Miss Fitzpatrick who later married the principal, Mr. Dixon. Students' names and the grade are unidentified.
