Description: Sepia-toned albumen print mounted on lt. tan paperboard. Photographer unknown. Descriptive label glued to lower edge of image and a gummed catalog sticker is affixed to the upper left. Some scuffing of image, plus a 1-inch vertical tear at its top.

History of Object: Interesting street view of the original Palace Market located in the Bay Station district. Two story frame building with a porch extension over the sidewalk to the street edge, has assorted animal carcasses attached to the streetside railing. Owned by Mayor W. H. Noy.
