Description: Sepia-toned albumen print cabinet photo mounted on buff paperboard. Photographer: Sewell, 1025 Market St., San Francisco. Nail holes in all corners. Glue residue is on bottom margin of the mounting, and the mounting, itself, is cropped off at the top, down to the edge of the image.
Size: L-5 1/2 x W-4 1/2 in.
History of Object: Portrait of D. J. Sullivan, Superintendent of Schools, Alameda, from 1883 to 1899. He was also the Past-Master of Oak Grove Masonic Lodge #215.
