Description: Sepia-toned circular image, mounted on dk. greyish brown paperboard. Photographer unknown. A typed description label is glued to the bottom margin of the mounting. Nail holes are in all corners. The mounting also has scuffing wear and residual glue stains.
Size: L-4 1/4 x W-4 1/4 in.
History of Object: Portrait of Frank V. Bordwell, a Library worker in 1898. In 1912, according to the Alameda City Directory, he was a cashier at the citizens National Bank in Alameda, and he resided at 872 Laurel Street, Alameda. (See Acc. No. 96.413.1 for another photograph of Mr. Bordwell.)
