Two photos:
(1) a soft-focus black/white photo mounted on grey paperboard;
(2) a smaller photo, lt. sepia-toned, is glued over the lower right corner the first photo. Photographers unknown. A hand-printed description label in blue ball-point pen ink is affixed across the bottom margin of both images.
Size: Larger image: L-6 1/4 x W-4 1/2; smaller: L-3 x W-2 1/2 in.
History of Object: Two portraits of Dr. George P. Reynolds, a physician who practiced at 1360 Park St., and who resided at 2045 Central Ave. (per the 1912 Alameda City Directory). The larger photo shows Dr. Reynolds standing next to his carriage (a carriage later destroyed by vandals in the 1960's, when in possession of the Alameda Historical Museum); the smaller photo is a seated portrait.
