History of Object: This photo, taken after 1900, shows the schooner "Snow & Burgess" on drydock in the Estuary. The vessel was commanded for 25 years (until 1920) by Alameda shipmaster Albert H. Sorenson. His wife and daughters sailed with him for several years. The family home was at 1019 Buena Vista Avenue.
