Description: Informally made photo scrapbook consisting of five pages of bound typewriter paper, on the front sheet of which is a typewritten title and description followed by three pages each containing 3 glossy black/white photos (and each of these measuring L-3 x W-4 in.) attached by black paper photo mounting corners, with typewritten descriptions below the images; the fifth sheet of paper is blank, serving as the back cover. Some spotting on cover, and corner creasing throughout.
Size: L-11 x W–8 1/2 in.
History of Object: Photographs showing flooded conditions caused by National Defense Construction. The general areas affected appear to be along Webster Street, Brush Street, Atlantic Avenue and Third Street near the Naval Air Station. These photos were taken by the Alameda Public Works Department.
