History of Object: Series of photographs portraying a Civics Project of the 8th Grade Class: (a) Scale model of buildings in the West End, including the N.A.S.; (b) model of Notre Dame High School in 1881, St. Joseph's Mission Church in 1883, and The Argus building; (c) models of the Park Street and Fruitvale Bridges; (d) models of the City Hall, Post Office, and business buildings; (e) students Clifford Hanson and Donald Rodrigues who described the project to visitors; (f) City Planning Board members (as guests) Mrs. Helen Freeman, Col. F.S. Curren, and Mr. H. Kihn; (g) view of bulletin board in project classroom; (h) models of the industrial section of City, incl. the Pennzoil plant; (i) blackboard in classroom on which are written words of appreciation by the distinguished visitors.
