History of Object:
Photograph depicting the main facade of the Tilden Mansion at 1031 San Antonio, erected in 1896 by A.R. Denke, builder. It was originally constructed by Howard Havens and sold in 1902 to Major Charles L. Tilden. The photograph was taken by Harriet Hallonquist, a member of the Alameda Photographic Society.
