Description: Dark sepia-toned photo, unmounted. Photographer may be "E.L. Coats, 605 18th Street, Oakland", according to a rubber stamping in purple ink on verso. A typed description label is glued to the bottom edge of the image. The image also has some minor spotting, and its upper left corner point has disappeared.
Size: L-3 1/2 x W-4 1/2 in.
History of Object: Photo thought to that of the original United Engineering Works plant in Alameda, built in the early 1900's.
