History of Object: Photographs about the life of Capt. Henry J. Nielson, a native of Alameda and a longtime resident of 1800 Nason Street (at Buena Vista Ave.), who skippered for the Matson Navigation Company. Maritime scenes are shown, as well as views at or about his Alameda residence, among unidentified family members, friends and colleagues, in Hawaii and at various seaports and vacation spots.
