Nail holes in all corners of the mounting, as is an old cataloging sticker affixed to the upper left corner and a typed description label on the bottom margin of same.

Two scenes from the annual Alameda Bicycle Club run:
(A): Club members with their bicycles on the day of their 1889 excursion to San Jose;
(B): Club members standing amid a grove of pine trees (no bicycles in evidence) in a semi-circular pose, during the 1890 run.
