Dean Ramsden (1913-1981) was owner of PACECO and co-inventor of a crane. Genevieve, George and Mary Anne Landis, and Walt Martin were related to Madeline.
Barge 18 ran aground on Shemya Island in 1958. Another barge with the same name -Barge 18 - was launched the year after (1959).
