Each photo is 8x10 History: Dick Bartell was a star athlete at Alameda High School in the early 1920s. He was 19 years old when he played in his first major league game in 1927. Dick Bartell was the starting shortstop for the National League in the first major league all-star game, played in 1933. He retired in 1946.
