Description: Two glossy black/white studio proof photos: (a) unmounted, (b) remnants on verso of having been mounted on lined binder paper. Both images have pin holes in all four corners. Photographer unknown. Image (a) has an old cataloging label affixed to upper left corner; both images have minor creasing.

History of Object: Two photos of an attractive youngish woman identified on verso of one as Lou Daniels, an Alameda resident. In both photos she is stylishly attired in a white, lace- trimmed blouse, black organdy ankle-length skirt, and a hat crested with black feathers accented with a floral while bow. Two different poses:
(a) almost full-length portrait, showing the painted studio backdrop,
(b) a 3/4 length close-up portrait,
