History of Object: Views of various Pan American Clipper Ships while this operation was based in Alameda, prior to its move to Treasure Island: a) Hawaiian Clipper; b) China Clipper at Alameda with the crew and maintenance staff posed in front of it; c) Pan-Am Clipper leaving Alameda for Honolulu; d), China, Clipper - first air mail flight celebration at Alameda, with Postmaster James A. Farley in attendance; e) PMG Farley amid crew of 1st airmail flight to Manila; f) gasoline refueling barrels on Wake Isl. used for refueling; g) photo of Manila newspaper ("The Tribune) showing China Clipper arrival celebration; h) 1st Officer Sullivan and Capt.
