Description: Glossy lt. sepia-toned black/white photograph, unmounted. Photographer unknown. Damage to the image includes: 1) an old green cataloging label is glued to the upper left corner; 2) five tears afflict the image, ranging from 1/2-in. to 2-in. in length, some repaired on front and verso with Scotch tape; 3) a typed description label, L-1 1/2 x W-6 1/4 in., is glued to the upper right corner; 4) identifying numerals in white ink are written in several places; 5) the upper left and the lower right corner points are broken off; and 6) the emulsion on the left half of the photo has been damaged from heat, causing large areas filled with slight bubbles.

History of Object: Alaska Packers Baseball Team, ca. 1920. Members are assembled on a pier with an Alaska Packers vessel seen in the background. The members are identified on the verso as well as on a typewritten list glued to the upper right corner of the image.
