Description: Three glossy black/white photos, unmounted. Images are unlabeled, and no information - except a description in pencil made by the curator - is provided on the verso. Surface of the images are marked by many small non-glossy splotches and circles, and there is some bolbing of the paper, but no other damage.
Size (each): L-8 x W-10 inches
History of Object: Three views of the Southern Pacific Railroad station located at Park Street and Lincoln Avenue, Alameda, built in 1887. Image A pictures the freight warehouse section, image B shows the entrance to the freight office, and image C shows the entire freight office section. The building was torn down after the demise of the railroad.
These images are matching the descriptions of 97.620.1 (A, B, C), except there is no damage; possibly they were prints off the same negative.
Image B and C show the location of the signs cataloged as 81.79.1 and 89.79.2.
The curator had no memory of where these photos came from.
