Size: 22¼" x 27": frame size, 29x33 inches. History Of Object: This is an unsigned portrait of Mr. Charles H. Wever, who was an early day Alameda mortician, 1896, at 1502 Park Street. In 1912 he was located at 2322 Santa Clara Avenue. He established his undertaking parlor in 1890, at the corner of Park and Santa Clara, where the Bank of America now stands. His second location was in the twenty-three hundred block on Santa Clara Avenue. He passed away about 1924. Acquired from: Miss Martha Kirby Date: September, 1969
