The painted face is turned sideways, the body at an angle with the hands curved. A green rubber pin fits in a hole in the derriere. Just above are the words ‘Hong Kong’. Size: 3.25 in x 5.1 in History of Object: Combination cup-hanger and cake-topper of the Martin family. Ornament was presumably used to give seasonal flair during the holiday season. The pin could be stuck into a cake, or perhaps a potted plant. This particular company apparently created these elfs in 3 different attitudes, and in green or red.
