The figure is hand-painted and glazed, with light brown hair and beard, wearing a tan tunic and brown cloak draped over the right shoulder. The hat is black, the base is painted dark moss-green. Underside is stamped: 'Germany' in black. Size: H 5 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. History of Object: Figurine of a shepherd, part of a Manger or Nativity Scene of the Martin Family, who came to Alameda in the early 1900s.
