Two hardbound publications of black colored buckram books with red colored canvas binding. Attached are two single slot removable screws that permit the removal or addition of pages. Their covers are of incised gold lettering reading: “Thomas Bros. Block Book of Alameda”.
Size (each): L-10 x W-15 inches
History of Object: Block books showing Alameda streets from the Fernside block to Chestnut St. Each individual property has, penciled in, the name of the current owner. (These block books appear to have been used by a real estate office.)
