This negative has some wear and is missing some material along the bottom edge, but otherwise is in excellent condition.
2024.79.1B is a film negative, taken from the southwest corner of Park St and Alameda Ave, looking north on Park St. The foreground of this image shows a street repair project by the East Bay Water Co. in progress. A vintage street light is shown on the northwest corner, next to the piles of excavated dirt. 1920s cars and businesses on both sides of Park St. are visible. This negative is dated July 3, 1924 near the lower left corner. A name, as yet to be determined, and W-495 are near the lower right hand corner, with a small defect above that. Otherwise, this negative is in excellent condition.
