Description: Two sections of a wallpaper, with design of silver-and-grey roses on a white-stippled brown reddish background. Back has old newspapers, which presumably prevented old glue from sticking to other things but may have darkened the sample.

B (approx.) L 17 1/2 x W 9 3/4 inches
History of Object: Victorian wallpaper samples removed from 1710 Walnut Street, erected 1865-1866, moved to present location 1902.
The samples were found, awaiting processing, in the museum wallpaper samples storage area.
