For Release Wednesday, August 16, 1967: View from the LockHeed Hercules cockpit of jungle area in Peru. River ahead is the Aguaytia, alongside which is the rough landing strip hewed out of the jungle for this unique airlift of tons of oil drilling rig equipment. Except for the possibility of such an airlift by the Hercules, expensive roads to nowhere would have had to be built.
