For Release Wednesday, August 16, 1967: Aerial view of jungle in Peru. River ahead is the Aguaytia, alongside which is the rough landing strip level hewed out of the jungle for this unique airlift of tons of oil drilling rig equipment. Except for the possibility of such an airlift by the Hercules, expensive roads to nowhere would have had to be built.
