For Release Wednesday, August 16, 1967: Alaska Airlines' "Golden Nugget" Hercules takes off from Lima, Peru, carrying approximately 20 tons of oil drilling rig to Zorrillos Airstrip. The air freighter, under contract to Mobil del Peru, operates around the clock, making five round trips a day between Lima and Zorrillos. Crates and equipment in foreground are oil drilling rig equipment fabricated by Parker Drilling Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
