General Notes

Note

Sue pottery or Sueki is high-fired pottery that was brought from the Gaya region of Korea in the 5thC. This type of vessel, called a hasō, would have had a bamboo spout protruding from the hole and would have been used by the elite class for serving rice wine Old collection notes in black kanji, untranslated, labelled as Yayoi (incorrect)
