This is a document concerning five rules for passing checkpoints (sekisho 関所):

Bugyō (one of the Edo government branches regulating on the travels).
Item one. When passing through sekisho, take off any face covers such as kasa, face wrap.
Item one. When passing through sekisho using "norimono 乗物" (such as palanquin), open its cover
Item one. This relates to women passing through sekisho. (I cannot figure out fine details.)
Item one. This relates to dubious situations passing through sekisho (such as the dead persons).
Item one. This relates to attendants accompanying ”various daimyo 諸大名" lords passing through sekisho should appears without any dubiousness.Notes
