This is a list of names of eighty great houses. This list looks like a copy in the Meiji era of the Edo period original.

> 江山翁 Kōzan-ō 常陸の人 Hitachi no hito [from the Hitachi Province (now Ibaraki Prefecture)] 江戸 (moved to) Edo 天保八年二月没す Tenpō hachinen 8th year (1837) nigatsu (February) bosu (died) 年七十一 nen shichijū'ichi (at the age of 71);
> 文晁 Bunchō 谷文晁 Tani Buncho (the artist) 天保十二年十二月没 Tenpō jūninen 12th year (1841) jūnigatsu (December) bosu (died) 七十六 nanajūroku (at the age of) 76);
> 雲峯 Unpō 大岡氏名(うじな) Ōoka ujina family name (氏名) 幕府旗下の士 bakufu kika no shi (a samurai in the service of bakufu (shogunate) 天保年中 Tenpō nenchū era (died in the Tenpō era, 1830-1843);
> 米庵 Bei'an 市川氏名 Ichikawa ujina family name 安政四年七月没 Ansei yonen 4th year (1857), shichigatsu (the seventh month) 年八十 nen hachijū (died at the age of 80).
