Pleasant View School was a one-room country schoolhouse in the Township of Washington. It served the country kids in grades 1-8 who lived southeast of Altoona. During this time, Pleasant View School students had an option to attend Altoona Hight School, Fall Creek High School or Eau Claire High School after completing 8th grade. School buses for all three high schools had routes in the area.
