St. Mary's Catholic School - Circa early 1930's
Originally a hotel known as the Omaha Eating House, this building was moved to the corner of Spooner Avenue and 4th Street West. St. Mary's boarding school for girls served as Altoona's first high school until 1913. It later became a military boarding school for boys. It was torn down August 5, 1966 and replaced by present St. Mary's School. This building stood where the present-day church stands.
