Blue slipcase, with the edges dark blue cloth and front and back a lighter blue paper. Book is quarter cloth binding with the covers having vertical design of light blue, bronze, copper, and dark gray. Edges of the pages are untrimmed. Opposite full title is an image pasted in, which appears tucked into the back corner as a poster. 106p. Introduction by Clare Colvin. "The book details Paul Nash’s letters to childhood friend Mercia Oakley. Paul and Mercia first met as neighbours and Paul’s letters to her are an important record of his early development in both life and work; few groups of Nash’s letters from this period survive."
