Chapbook of poetry by Sian Thomas. Covers are light blue with brown illustration, with the front showing a small shack surrounded by plantlike, through a hole in a fence topped a strong barbed wire. 30pg. These poems are based upon Ovid’s Metamorphoses, translations in the broadest sense: new versions of some of the myths from Ovid’s poem, itself a collection of older stories. Some myths retold in a contemporary setting; others as variations around the original story and some inspired by but not bearing a close relationship to the original.
